As many of you already know, September has always been a truly special month for me. It's a time of utter happiness and beautiful beginnings, including the arrival of our three much longed for and precious children. Well after much umming & ahhing during the past 12 months or so and with support and gentle encouragement from my wonderful family, friends and clients September seemed the perfect time to finally hit the publish button on my newest "baby".. my Captured by Chrissy Photography BLOG! A special place to share my favourite images and also some sneak peeks from the sessions I have been honoured to photograph too. Taking my passion to capture treasured moments for others to that next level is incredibly exciting, totally exhilarating, very humbling... and so it begins!

Such A Beautiful Boy!

Little Master "N"

What a cutie pie!! Nothing makes me happier than knowing I have a shoot and with the huge storms that hit on Saturday this one had to be postponed a tad til today which as it turned out was truly gorgeous weather. Had such a fun time with two very cute and very busy LOL toddlers & their folks this afternoon. This is a quick peek of Little Master N who turns ONE this week! Isn't he simply *adorable*, I melt every time I look at those big brown eyes and darling little tooth just peeking through, so precious...

A little sneak peek for you "G"...

What a gorgeous young couple

Yesterday I was asked by this handsome young man's mum if I would be able to photograph their lovely family before they headed off to celebrate his young lady's 21st birthday. They all looked so happy and glamorous, especially "E" in her gorgeous ball gown! I've known this family for many years now and still can't quite believe how grown up the kids have become, especially Mr "I" here. Time flies by so quickly.

Thank you "G" for allowing me to capture some memories for your family, will definitely share some more photos here in the coming week.

You looked truly stunning sweetie.
I'm sure your evening with family and friends was as beautiful as you...

{Miss M}

I definitely seem to be doing a lot of teen sessions it feels these days and I have to say how lovely this age group is to work with! I have known this particular young lady since she was just a tot and when she asked me to do a shoot for her of course I said yes. Miss 18 has the most beautiful eyes, so striking! Here are a few I just had to share...

Model material here...

Bit of teenage attitude in this one! *grin* Love capturing that...

 Loved every moment of this shoot, your images are ready to be picked up when you are sweetie.

Wedding Day = {happiness}

Now I know I have not quite taken the plunge when it comes to wedding photography but how could I say no to this very precious couple - especially since the bride is my darling mother-in-law. The groom was insistent that the camera not be ever present and that they really only wanted 5 or 6 nice pics! Oh dear, a bit hard for someone like me who adores taking, well, a few more than that ! LOL I think I managed to get away with some extras but only because I am loved. *grin* Will share just a couple...

So on a very rainy October day, in their little country church, our close family and friends attended a beautiful ceremony. Was so proud as our Nick also was part of the big day and did a lovely reading from the Bible.

With the showery weather I managed to find a couple of sheltered spots for a photo or two as well so I was happy! They both looked gorgeous with the bride wearing a pretty peachy cream top and soft grey skirt. Loved the grey pin strip vest the groom chose, very dashing hey.

I love how cute they are together, so in love like a couple of teenagers, hard to believe my new father-in-law is approaching 80! That we should all be so fit, healthy, fun loving and full of life.

~♥  May God bless you both forever and always  ♥~

Gorgeous Miss E - SENIOR FORMAL

I guess you could say this is one shoot I've been waiting almost 17 years to capture... Our gorgeous girl at her Senior Formal looking ever so elegant and beautiful and yes I am totally biased. *grin*

 Here are just a few more images from her special evening...

 Miss E's special young man scrubbed up pretty nicely too, they made such a striking pair.

She simply radiated happiness...

 Miss E looked just stunning, perfect make-up, glorious long hair with cute crystal flowers scattered throughout her curls and a truly unique princess style gown which was the perfect choice for our girl.

  They are such a sweet couple, I'm so pleased it all went so well.

And a few casual shots before heading inside for the big event...

Looking happy and ready to start the evening!

{A and J}

Teen shoots seem to be my thing these days, so here is another! LOL You gotta love it when 15 year olds (especially young men! *grin*) actually let you take their photo willingly.

These two are really cute together and such fun to shoot, thanks guys for being so cool about our little session this morning.

Rustic Teen Shoot

 Today we ended up heading to the country for a fun Saturday afternoon. I discovered a cool little spot there that had me reaching for my camera LOL, so totally *loving* the whole mood to these ones! Big thank you to Miss E for being my wonderful impromptu model, she knew exactly what look I was going for. :)

Love the gorgeous colours and textures to this, so rustic...

Would have stayed even longer but alas I lost the light. I will definitely be heading back to do a longer shoot soon, can't wait!

Mini Shoot With Baby M

How adorable! Despite the very poor light and a beautiful bubba that wanted her dummy LOL I still managed to do a very quick and fun mini session of my darling friend "S" with her new little niece who was about 3 weeks old here...

Isn't she just adorable? I even had lots of baby snuggles too. So precious. Thanks to her mummy "M" for having me over for morning tea. Hope you both like the sneak peeks!

Year 11 Semi Formal Session

With three teenagers in our home, at this time of year there is alot of family fun going on... lots to photograph too! The girls school our Miss 16 attends was not having an official photographer at the event for the Year 11s but luckily our sweet girl has a Mumma who is never far from her camera. *grin*

With only a 10 minute window to do a very quick session before needing to be on our way, I managed to capture these beautiful images of our daughter looking very elegant in her gorgeous red satin dress with black lace sash. The handmade black crystal pendant we bought just set off the whole outfit, she looked so striking.

There has been lots of excitement the past few weeks with dress shopping, hair dresser appointments and of course a relaxing manicure with pretty french tips to complete the whole look. Miss 16 is our only daughter so it's incredibly lovely doing the whole girly thing with her I'll admit. :)

Congratulations our darling girl, you are growing up so very quickly and Year 11 is almost behind you. We are very proud of you, definitely our true Gift from above....

Catching up...Miss H

Now that I have my disc burner all sorted out I thought I'd put together a customised CD of the images from a session I did a while back of cute little Miss H with her mummy. They had flown interstate to visit Miss H's lovely aunty and I was so lucky to be asked to capture some happy and treasured memories for them of this special trip.

It was such a pleasure to photograph these two beautiful sisters, you can see the love they have for this sweet princess. It just shines.

Manda I'm so pleased you loved your package of goodies today, I see you have shared them on facebook already, that was quick! *grin* The look on your face when you opened the box was absolutely priceless, makes me unbelievably happy too...

I have a number of new sessions coming up over the next little while which should be heaps of fun, another newborn shoot too which is always SO exciting, you all know how much I *heart* bubbas. Just waiting for the little bundle of blue to arrive. :)

Huge 70th Celebration Session!

Recently I was excited to be asked to shoot a very large family session as a surprise gift for a beautiful lady on her 70th birthday. The day chosen couldn't have been more perfect considering the wet weather we had been having and I spent a thrilling afternoon photographing the various family groups gathered at the celebrations.

There were 19 people altogether including 7 kiddies, it was huge, busy and a totally amazing experience for me as a photographer! This cutie pie "Miss O" was super keen to model for me. Isn't she darling?

The birthday girl was obviously happy with her gift. She and her hubby are such a great couple, the affection and love just shines.

Heartfelt thanks to Ange for organising the surprise for her lovely mother-in-law...

...and also to Helen for inviting me into her home to shoot our session.

Love the soft VINTAGE feel to this large group one.

And here they all are! I was honoured to be a little part of your special 70th birthday celebrations, it was ever so wonderful meeting you all. I truly hope you enjoy your sneak peeks here (you have extras since there were so many of you *grin*) and will treasure the portraits I've captured of your happy relaxed family on the day. All your proofs will be ready to view on my proofing website in the next day or so, I will email you the addy so keep your eye on your inbox.  :)
